What's this?

Steven, Brian, and Joanne talk while waiting for the ride to start. Is that Lynda hiding behind Brian? David and Geri can't wait to get started. I have no idea what David is doing. Meanwhile, Lora is loading water bottles and assorted stuff onto her bike, and Clair might be putting on sunscreen. I think I'd like to live there. The musical sheep that made such lovely sounds with their bells. Here I am riding in through the gate into Siena. And David's not far behind. An old watering hole from Roman times (I think). David's trying to decide if the water's safe to drink. Me, Cindy, Dara, Geri, and David. Brian and Paulette lock up their bikes before going into the city of Siena on foot. Janet arrives in Siena. Claire explains to David about Basilica di San Domenico where the head of St. Catherine and finger are kept. Paul seems to be really into his sunscreen. This time, Claire has Paul's attention. A stone lion above the fountain looks down at our group. Way at the top of the cliff is the church we have to walk up to. I thought I signed up for a bike tour! The rest of that church. Everybody's locking up their bikes. Group shot. Well, Nello's missing, but this is the best I have. Dara and Claire walk through the streets of Siena. Liz admires an ornate door while Lynda gets annoyed at the guy with the camera. Cindy seems to be window shopping. Everybody's walking. The Duomo in Siena The Duomo in Siena Basilica di San Domenico Random people walking through Siena. Over the doorway to Basilica di San Domenico The head and finger of St. Catherine Stained glass windows in Basilica di San Domenico Stained glass windows in Basilica di San Domenico Decoration at the deli where some people got sandwiches. The proprietor even gave Claire a freebie. Torre del Mangia (I think) Palazzo Pubblico? Lawrence, David, Geri, Liz, Lora, and Wayne listen as Nello explains the menu at <somebody help me with the name -- Nero Gallo?> An Italian espresso bar The Duomo. The big church in Siena, and I can't remember the name of it. Everybody's enjoying the conversation (and the wine) at the dinner table. Our chef (Maruschka?) stays busy between courses. Geri, Nello, and Liz enjoy after-dinner drinks. Now claire's joined in the fun. More after-dinner fun.
