What's this?

Piazza della Signoria at dawn A close-up of Palazo Vecchio Some of the statues around Piazza della Signoria. I think that's Rape of the Sabine Women in the front, but I'm not positive. Perseus was my favorite statue in the Piazza. The street in front of the Uffizi at 7:00. The street in front of the Uffizi at 9:00. Ponte Vecchio. Gold merchants are permanent residents on this bridge. In the Uffizi, the fancy ceilings were my favorite attractions. Yes, I'm strange. A Statue room in the Uffizi. If I had my notes, I could tell you what the statues were. Okay, I really liked this status. If I knew about art, I could actually figure out what it is. Another one of the fancy ceilings. More statues in the Uffizi. A close-up of the statue. I really wish I had my notes. This was a vase in Palazzo Pitti. I never got a decent picture of it, and this is the best I can do. Lora took this picture of me in Boboli Gardens to prove that I really was in Florence. Street performers in front of the Uffizi. One of Michelangelo's Slaves in the Academia. Same Slave different angle. Doesn't it look like he's emerging out of the rock? Another slave. Look at the chisel marks. They were put there by the master himself! A third slave. I love how it just flows from rough stone to polished thigh. More views of the slave. Okay, I was a bit obsessed with them. But they were so cool! That lump would have turned into a hand. There's David! I did as I was told and didn't use a flash. As a result, I never got a sharp picture. Look at the eyes! That sling goes all the way down his back. I was also a bit obsessed with that patch on his butt. Lora and Cindy on the train to Pisa. From the bus on the way to the tower in Pisa. I should look up the name of the river, but I'm in a hurry now. I'd never known that the leaning tower had so many neighbors. I believe that's the baptistry in front of it. There's a shot of just the tower. You can see cables holding it up during the reinforcing work. Another rare picture of me. A closer shot at the cables holding it up. The fence kept us away. There were lots of cats next to the tower. They just came running out when we sat down. I think Lora was diagnosing this one with upper-respiratory problems. I think they're just drawn to Cindy. The leaning tower at sunset. Isn't that pretty? You can see all the buildings bathed in the pink light.
